Dinosaur Day

Okay as what I said, this is gonna be a super long post, then here you go! It was a Sunday, 15th July 2012, as the nephew yongyong got his free ticket to visit the Dinosaur Live, so we decided to bring him there that day. He only got his own free tickets, so my brother and me had to get our own tickets, RM15 per entrance for each adult. Before we headed to National Science Centre, we had our breakfast at Hailam Kopitiam @ Kota Damansara. We actually wanted to go SYL Restaurant which is very famous there, but there was fully packed so ended up going to try Hailam coffee!

No good to say but this tasted a bit shitty, not going to order this anymore!

But the coffee and nasi lemak were good!

This is National Science Centre which is located near Mont Kiara. So bad I am already 19 but it was only my first time to visit!

The crazy queue! Should have been there earlier.

So you can see what were they doing when queuing up.

The biggest fish, Arapaima!

It was something that related with steam, I don't know what was it using for.

Some of the quality of the photos are really bad because I didn't bring any camera with me, and all of the dinosaurs were in a so-called-cave, a dark place with only low multi-coloured lights. Hmm that's all I can do with my phone. Actually the dinosaurs were not bad, they looked real but there were too few of them, just about 10 types only. They could move their bodies, eyes, mouths and tongues as well as they could roar. My brother also touched their body quietly and secretly because we were not allowed to do that and then he said damn real so surprisingly! And so yongyong was scary all the time inside there, but the whole journey of seeing these dinosaurs only took about half an hour.

This was the funniest thing I have tried and experienced that day! It was like a maze which is made up with a lot of glasses and mirror by also applying the theory of reflection and refraction of light. We played around there few times but we found out it was only funny at the very first time. Once you have got the first experience of it, you will know what is going to happen there so hmm no fun at all already lah.

ootd.

I don't know why didn't the daddy ask his kids to stay aside when I was taking this photo. It is a very simple manner that people should know to stay away from disturbing others. If you wanna take your time on taking photo or something else, you should wait for your turn. It should be a nice photo but the kid interrupted, errrr the daddy!

I'm not sure what we call this, magic mirror or distorting mirror. It was my first time also to play with this. Kampung boy is like that lolll.

A rocket launching machine! This took few minutes to launch the small rocket. When we were using it, there were some other people trying to meddle, luckily we still got to experience it at last.

Actually he was scary when sitting up there.

This is the simple experiment that we used to do in primary school. By cycling, the light bulb can be lighted up. If I'm not mistaken, it talked about force generates electric energy. I am not sure so if I am wrong sorry! :P

This was the puzzle using those blocks to fill the spaces. There were 4 and we could only clear 3. As you see the easier the shapes of the spaces are, the harder we finished the puzzle. We have tried so much time on this square, but we can't get it done, so shameful.

Moonwalk machine!

Putting the selective organs on the right places.

This was the periodic table that I hate the most!

You know why did he look like that? Hahaha it was because the thing he sat on was lifting up and it scared him!

On our way to leave the centre, yeah I was wearing my own t-shirt!

We were allowed to put our hands in to get the fish's bites. It can be nice like having those types of fish massage but actually can be painful also. I found it painful when I put my hands in there!

After that, we went for the park outside the centre.

Are you able to figure out a frog in this photo? A green colour frog! It is looking at you now actually. Find it out!

I never know there were water park and playground. A nice view. For being hygienic, better do not swim and play at the pools there. Do not know if they take care of the hygiene and safety. Oh yeah last but not least, for the things, machines and games that you can't understand what are they actually doing, I also don't know. But I can tell you they are somethings to do with science, ermm like biology, physics and chemistry. And I don't know seriously, you can go for a visit there!

Next, we were off to watch The Amazing Spiderman because yongyong has waited so long to watch and normally his parents are not free to bring him to watch at cinema so here was our task! After a very long day, we called it an amazing and enjoyable day! But at that night, my sister told me that yongyong was scary to sleep alone, and ended up sleeping with the light switching on, she said that he was scared by the dinosaurs and the reptiles in the movie. Oh well he is still a kid. Okay, so that's all from my super long post, hope you enjoy it because I spent so many hours to edit and upload my photos!

And yeah good bye July, my busy month! One more month of holidays to go, bye!

Tick tick tick, since April 2011.
